Exciting News to share!!!

You may have read yesterday's post that it was my last day as GDT member at the Digi Bell's and how sad I was!! Well that was a bit of a cover because guess what??? I was asked to stay on as permanent DT member and I only had to think for a nanosecond before accepting!!! I have had an absolute ball designing with Elisabeth Bell's Digi's and working alongside the Digi Bell's DT so I am SUPER EXCITED to be staying on!!! So thank you to Janiel and Lynda (and Elisabeth) and the rest of the DT for the opportunity...
I am also excited to share with you that I will be GDT member over at The Crafty Pad!! Deborah Moore emailed me and after me asking questions as to whether I had entered to be A GDT member or won a challenge, (LOL) I accepted. Deborah draws her own images and sells them in her digi store and I look forward to creating with some of her images!!!
Well besides all that exciting news I do have a creation to share with you and I am excited about that as well!! I have seen Book Cards around in the blogging world for awhile now and I finally sat down and made one the other day and I absolutely love what I created!!! My sister (who is my number one customer) asked me to make a wedding card (that would hold money) a couple of weeks ago and I wasn't too sure what I was going to do but when I started making the book card I thought it would be perfect for a wedding card! So after getting the approval I got creating and.... well you judge for yourself!! :)

I followed Tina's fantastic tutorial which you can find HERE and it worked perfectly!!. I think the pics speak for themselves!!! I coloured these images from Whiff of Joy - Willow with Champagne - an Elisabeth Bell image and Charlie 007 - an Alison Acton image  with tria markers and used glitter pens through the girls dress and in the champagne and martini glasses. All the papers are from Kaszazz which I distressed with walnut stain distress ink! I've stuck the images down with mounting foam and I've then added all the other embellishments - flowers, rhinestones and ribbon.I also used the Stampin Up eyelet border punch for the edges of the card!! And on the inside I used a Kaszazz Background stamp!!
I hope you like it as much as I do..
I am entering this into the following challenges:
* Emerald Faerie Garden - Flowers, Flowers, Flowers
* Bearly Mine Challenges - Anything but a card (hope this qualifies)
* Creative Card Crew - FallĂn For You
* Creative Craft Challenges - Fancy Edges
* Deep Ocean Challenge - Sweet (mine take on this is sweet love)

My last Post as GDT member at the Digi Bell's..

Wow, where have the last three months gone!!! I have no idea but I have had a fabulous time being a GDT member and have felt very honoured to have been a part of  such a talented DT and to be working with Elisabeth Bell's images! So THANK YOU to the Digi Bell's DT and to Elisabeth Bell for having me as part of the team for a short while!! :)
So today is my last day to post as a guest Digi Bell and I have decided to use Little Rapunzel - one of Elisabeth Bell's many sweet digi's!! I was originally going to make a "Fall card" but I have been away for the weekend looking after my niece and nephew so only had limited supplies with me so went with a different idea altogether!! And because I had limited supplies i've actually just finished my card now that I am home so the photo isn't the greatest but I'll be back tomorrow with a better quality picture!! PROMISE!
Edited: New photo of better quality
Again I apologise for the photo!! I coloured Little Rapunzel in with Tria markers and a glitter pen. The CS is Bazzill and the SB is from Magnolia. I then just added buttons, ribbon, flowers, pearls and made some shrinky dink butterflies!!
Again I'd like to say thanks to all the wonderful DT over at the Digi Bell's. I really have had a wonderful time designing with you. And thank you to Elisabeth Bell for trusting me to create cards with your gorgeous digi's!
Be sure to check out the Digi Bell's blog later today to see who will be the next GDT memebrs for the next three months!!!
And be sure to come back here tomorrow as I have some exciting news to share with you!!!

Use a Digi!! PCJ DT!

Yep another fortnight closer to christmas!! October is nearly over and I am yet to start my Christmas cards!! I made a list at the start of the year of things I wanted to get done and starting my Christmas cards in October was one of them but I am yet to get started!! Oh well!! will start them soon in between DT committments!!
So onto this fortnights Paper Crafting Journey challenge which is Use a Digi!! An easy one I think,  I know for me I have been using digi's more and more because they are so versatile!! We are sponsored this month by Glitterbabe Digi's and Stef is kindly giving the winner 3 digi's of their choice!
And Stef gave us some images to play with!! I actually used an image that I got from Stef awhile ago because I needed to make a belated birthday card and this image was perfect.

Isn't he cute and I just love that sentiment!! I coloured the dragon in with tria markers and glitter pens and added kindyglitz to the stars around him!! I cut out a couple of circles with my new circle scissor plus that I got from Stampin' UP and inked around the edges on the imahe and paper pierced around the purple circle!! I found the  scalloped circle in my stash and used another square piece of scrap for the other corner!! I then just made some flowers and added buttons!!

If you haven't already, head on over to the Paper Crafting Journey blog to see what the rest of the DT /GDT have done!! There are lots of  gorgeous creations!!!

Pink and Purple, Pearls and Pretties!! EBW Oct Challenge!!

Hello and Welcome to my followers old and new!! I hope that you have loved all my Steampunk creations I  have been making!! I had a lot of fun making them and think that style came natural to me once I got started!! So with today being the 25th October it is time for the next Elisabeth Bell's World  Challenge and we want to see your Purple, Pink, Pearls and Pretties on your creations!! Easy right, who doesn't love adding flowers, bling anything to make your cards look pretty!!
Here is what I made!

I think I used a sketch but can't remember where from, I usually go to Feline Playful when I'm stuck for ideas!! Anyway I used Elisabeth Bell's Digi - Sweet Sundae. I coloured her with Tria markers and glitter pen (yes I know I am addicted). All the papers are from my scraps, then I added the pearl, and flowers. I've stuck Sweet Sundae up on mounting foam because I like my cards to have a bit of depth!! And I think that is about it!!
So why don't you head on over to the Elisabeth Bell's World Challenge Blog to see what the rest of the DT have created and to see what prizes are up for grabs this month. You won't want to miss it!!!
Also don't forget there's a Guest DT call over at the Digi Bell's at the moment, you don't want to miss that!!

GDT Digi Bell's - a few girls!!

I have been busy making cards all day as I had to have them made today/tonight (this being one of them) and I've just remembered I had to post my Digi Bell's card!!! I love all the Elisabeth Bell Digi's and I have had this idea in my head for awhile to shrink the images down and use a few of them at a time!! So today I chose to use A Tasty Read, I Love You This Much and Little Rapunzel. I have used the blue, white and red colour scheme as I have to make a card using my aussie flag colours for a RAK card so thought I'd kill two birds with one stone!!
I know I say this every time I make a Digi Bell's card but again I kept this simple!! I felt I needed to with using three images so all I did was colour up my images with Tria markers and glitter pens then used ribbon, flowers and rhinestones to pull my card together!! And I distressed around the edge of the white card with blue ink!! Feel free to click on the image to get a better view of my colouring!!! It's probably not as good as I would have liked but it was really hard to colour with the images being so little!!

Be sure to come back tomorrow for the October Elisabeth Bell's World Challenge!! There will be plenty of inspiration to see from all the DT.

SSD Steampunk challenge #4

Wow, I'm cutting it fine again today for the fourth and final challenge over at the Sassy Studio Designs progressive challenge.
Our last freebie we received for completing challenge #3 was Steampunk Vivian and our challenge - Anything Goes!! So I decided to use all the elements that we had to include in the last three challenges!! I have thoroughly enjoyed creating steampunk and vintage cards so I will probably create more of these in the near future!!
So I won't keep you anymore.. here is my card!!

I used The Sweet Stop Sketch but as you an see I have skewed the sketch a bit but all the elements are there with some added extras!! I coloured Steampunk Vivian, umbrella, gears and flying padlocks in with Tria markers and I added some glitter and shimmer chalks to give it a bit of sparkle (but as always, the camera didn't capture the sparkle). I inked the lace with black ink and also inked over the timeless sentiment which was a freebie over at the SSD PCP page! The papers are Graphic 45 again and I created the clock paper which is the base of the card!!! The umbrella and flying padlocks are from KL dezign but like I said the  other day I can't seem to find the blog!! There are quite a few layers to this card but I forgot to take a photo so you could see and I've now sold the card so can't show you (opps :))
I have been so happy with how my cards have turned out for this fun progressive challenge but I think I've got a bit better as the challenge went along and I absolutely love this card and clearly so did my friend as she just bought it!!!

Thanks to all the SSD DT for the freebies and the inspiration  for this progressive challenge and congrats for reaching 500 followers on PCP!

Besides entering this into the SSD challenge #4 for the progressive challenge I am also entering this card into the following challenges:
* The Sweet Stop - Sketch with the option of Pink
* The Corrosive Challenges - Flying Things
* Scrappy Frogs - Something that Flies
* Crafts for Eternity Recipe Challenge -  Metal Embellishment
* Totally Papercrafts Friday Challenge - Layer upon Layer

Steampunk Victoria - SSD Progressive Challenge #3

Another quick post today as I have to do a workshop today and of course I've left things till the last minute and still have things to prepare!!!
This is my third card for the Sassy Studio Designs progressive challenge celebrating 500 members over at Paper Crafting Planet. After completing challenge #2 and getting my card in on time, I got the third freebie from SSD whihc is Steampunk Victoria!! Our challenge this time was to make a Victorian or Vintage creation!! Again this was a challenge for me as I have never made  a card using either of these styles so I went to my local scrapbooking shop and told her what I needed and she pointed out two racks of paper that I could choose from them then showed me these Graphic 45 papers and I knew these would be perfect!! Well I hope they are or I'll be returning all the papers to the shop!!  LOL!!
So without further ado here is my card!!

So all the SB papers are Graphic 45 and the base CS is American Craft which I inked the edges of! I coloured Steampunk Victoria in with Tria markers and used glitter pen on the gears and buckles on her clothes! I then cropped one of the other freebies that I got from the SSD PCP page and used the gears which I coloured with silver glitter pen also!! And that is all I did... Came together just perfect but like I said hopefully it is vintage or victoria!! :)
Can't wait to see what the fourth and final freebie is! Thanks SSD for a fabulous challenge!!

So again this is for Sassy Studio Designs Progressive Challenge #3

Steampunk'd - SSD Challenge #2 - progressive challenge

Well I am back today with my second steampunk'd card using the second freebie from Sassy Studio Designs which I got by making a card with the first freebie!! Today's image is Steampunk Amelia!! I am actually enjoying creating Steampunk cards, I love the look!!!
So for this second challenge we were to use clocks and/or gears on our creations!! I went with clocks and am again very happy with the end result!!!

I followed the Crafting Life's Little Pieces Sketch and I coloured Amelia in with Tria markers. I printed the clocks onto some scrap SB paper and inked the lace!!! Then I just added the buttons and metal embellishments!! I also added the tag which I won recently and just inked it with walnut stain distress ink!! I also distressed around the edges of all the CS and SB paper and over the top of Amelia!! Looking forward to seeing the next image and challenge!!!

As well as making  and entering this card for the Sassy Studio Design challenge I am also entering it into the following challenges:
* Crafting Life's Little Pieces - Sketch
* Creatalicious Challenges - Distress Your Images

Steampunk'd

If you are looking for the Digi Bell's Blog Hop please click HERE!
If you are looking for this fortnights PCJ challenge post click HERE!

I have now edited this post to include details of card!!

Hi everyone, this is going to be a quick post but  will come back and write all the details about my card later today and put all the links to the blogs in!!! Sassy Studio designs is celebrating 500 followers on Paper Crafting Planet. They have given us followers a free digi to use and in order to get the next digi we have to make a card with it!! I have never made a steampunk'd card before in fact am really not to sure what it even means .:) so hopefully my card captures the meaning a little bit.
So obviously this image - Steampunk Josephine is from Sassy Studio Designs and The flying padlocks are from KL dezign!! But I can't seem to find a blog for them! I coloured the images in with tria markers and used glitter pens. I really am getting better at colouring!!! I think anyway!!!. Not sure where the Alphabet SB paper is frombut the other SB paper is from Kaszazz and the CS is American Crafts!! The embellishments are from Kaszazz as well!
So I did get this in on time for the Sassy Studio Design progressive challenge and am happy to say that I won todays prize of 2 digi's from Sassy Studio Designs!! Very excited and glad that I managed to capture what steampunk is! Thanks everyone at SSD! I also have the 2nd digi for the progressive challenge and I have already made my card so I can't wait to share it with you tomorrow!!

I have so many cards to make at the moment so I will be back tomorrow!!

Pati's Kisses

If you're looking for the Hollywood Stars Blog Hop go HERE .
If you're looking for The Digi Bell's Blog Hop then go HERE.

Just a quick post tonight!! It's my turn to post on The Digi Bell's blog again ( you're probably getting sick of me) as I'm filling in for a couple of DT members for this month!! I'm thoroughly enjoying all this card making that I have been doing although due to us all being sick in my house, tonights card was left to the last minute so I made it a CAS card!!
I think it's perfect though!! I already had this adorable Elisabeth Bell image - Pati's Kisses coloured (with Tria markers) and cut out as I was going to use it the other day. So I chose to use some white CS, then added the orange floral paper from my stash, white ribbon and the flower and brad! I was going to add a sentiment but not sure what I would use this card for so decided not to use one!!!
Don't forget The Digi Bell's Blog Hop is currently going on.. There is a gorgeous new digi to be won so be sure to check out The Digi Bell's Blog and then do the hop.. you definitely will not be disappointed with the DT's creations!!

Welcome to Hollywood!!

If you are looking for The Digi Bell's Blog Hop then go to the post below!!

The Hollywood Blog Hop I mean!!! LOL!!! I have been to Hollywood and had a fabulous time!!!
Well the wonderful and creative Gill M has once again organised a magnificient hop which I'm sure you will not want to miss!!! You will see stars in all forms so be prepared to be wowed!!!
If you arrived here from Anita's Blog then you are on the right Walk of Fame. If not, then head on back to the number one star of the day Gill M.
So I have known for ages what image I wanted to use for this hop but the past couple of weeks we have had sickness after sickness so I finally finished my creation only half an hour ago. Thank goodness for daylight savings cos I was still able to take a good photo. So sorry if I have been holding up the line!!!
I only got this card organised in my head this afternoon before I started to create and I am so happy with the end result!!

I used MJ Henry digi from Whiff of Joy. My boys love this image and have made a lot of cards with it!! I coloured in MJ Henry with tria markers and coloured him in outfits that he wore for the songs that are in the stars on the card!! The Billie Jean MJ Henry has black glitter pen on his jacket but you can't really see it in the photo! I made up the stars and typed in the song names and punched them out with my star punch, then just inked around them!! All the paper is scraps from my stash and I then just added a few small punched out stars to finish off the card and added kindyglitz!!

That's it from me, so now the next star to hop to is Shannon. I'm sure she will dazzle you with her creation!! If you get lost along the way then head back to Gill's Blog to get back on the right track!!
Enjoy the rest of the Hop!!

I am entering this card into the following challenges:
* Emerald Faeries Garden - Punches/Dies
* Southern Girls Challenge - For boys or men
* My Mum's Craft Shop Challenge - Remind you of a song

Elisabeth Bell has designed the most gorgeous stamp for us to create with this month! I really enjoyed creating my card with it!!
Elisabeth named this adorable image **JANIEL'S HARVEST** as it was created for our very talented Team Leader Janiel for her birthday which is TODAY.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY JANIEL!! I hope you have the most amazing day!!

I used the Sketch Saturday sketch and I coloured Janiel's Harvest in with Tria markers and added some shimmer with glitter pens. I've 3D'd the frog, squirrel and birds with the bag of acorns. I then just added all my embellishmnets and bling!!! The green DP is from Kaszazz and the other DP was from my stash!! I had so much fun colouring this image and making this card... I hope Janiel likes it!!!
So would like a chance to win this adorable image!! Well you can!! All you have to do is leave a comment  on EACH of the DT's/GD'T's blog.   Two comments from the blogs will be randomly chosen!
Or the second way to win will be to do the hop leave comments and then to make a
card and post it on the Digi Bell's Blog. The theme is 'FALL FUN' and you can use any Elisabeth Bell image, just be sure to link back to the company the image is from.

Link Up for Pink!!!

This is my second post for today!! If you're looking for my PCJ post then head to the post BELOW!!
I saw this Link up for Pink linking Party awhile ago but have only just had a chance to get involved!!!
Thank you to Celeste, Gaby and Yolie for organising all this and giving us an opportunity to both participate and share our stories!!!

This is a cause that is very close to my heart as my Nan was diagnosed with Breast Cancer nearly two years ago. It was quite a shock to hear that nan had breast cancer, as it always is for everyone!!! She has showed the most amazing strength and determination and never allowed it to stop her living her life!! She really is an old battler and I mean that in the nicest possible way!!! She has amazed the doctors with her response to treatments and she amazes me with the way that she has never changed the way she lives!! She even had a fall a few months ago and cut her arm and leg quite bad but she continues on with life as usual!! I love my Nan so much and try to see her as often as I can but wish I could visit her more!! I love my Nan with all my heart!!
So for my card for LUFP I chose a Tickled Pink Stamps Image and a sentiment that I thought reflected Nan's positive outlook!!

I started using the Mojo Monday Sketch but then ended up changing it slightly!! I coloured Pink Ribbon Lilith in with tria markers and used a glitter pen on her ribbon on the t-shirt and a bit of pink in her hair!! I distressed around the edge of the image and the sentiment then added all the embellishments!!! I am really happy with the end results!!!

As well as this be entered for the LUFP linking party I am entering this into the following challenges:
* Guylou's Inimitability Blog - Breast Cancer Awareness Challenge
* Jellypark Friends - Add Pink and a Ribbon for Breast Cancer Awareness
* My Sheri Craft - Think Pink
* Lexi's Creations - Pink for Boobies
* Tuesday Throwdown - Think Pink

Remember to do your self breast examinations, it only takes a few minutes!!!

A colour challenge - PCJ DT - Challenge #21

For this challenge we are being sponsored by 2 Cute Rubber Stamps!! We would like to see your creations using the colours Black, White and Orange!!! I made a halloween card because of the time of year it is but you can create whatever you like so long as it uses those three colours!!!

I used last week's The Outlawz sketch, created my own halloween designer paper using a pumpkin digi from Simply Sassy, used a Pollycraft image - Lil Spook and an Articrafts by Rebecca sentiment!!!. I coloured Lil Spook in with Tria markers, distressed around the edges with memento black ink and did the same with the sentiment. The ribbon is from my stash as are the rhinestones!!! We don't really celebrate halloween here in Australia but so not sure that this card will get used but I think it's cute!!!

Don't forget to head over to Paper Crafting Journey (if you haven't already) and check out what the rest of the DT have created!! What will you create for this challenge??  I look forward to stopping by your blog and having a look!!

GDT Digi Bell's - Rachel, Little Angel!!

Here I am back with another card for the Digi Bell's Blog. I had planned to share a different card with you using Pati's Kisses but Pysselbus made such a gorgeous card with her yesterday that I thought I'd share another gorgeous Elisabeth Bell  digi image,  Rachel, Little Angel with you instead!! I think she is just adorable don't you?
It's been awhile since I made a different folded card so I decided to make a gatefold card!!!

I used The Sweet Stop Sketch for some inspiration to get me started and I had already coloured in Rachel, Little Angel with my Tria markers. It was then just a matter of choosing some papers!!! I decided to use my scraps (because I have so many) - the striped paper is from Kaszazz, the dark pink embossed paper is from magnolia and the CS is American crafts!! And all the embellishments are from my stash!! I also used glitter pens on Rachel's wings and on the sentiment. I also used Kindyglitz on the embossed dark pink paper!!!!

I am entering this card into the following challenges:
* The Sweet Stop - Sketch
* B'nW Challenge Blog - Use your favourite Elisabeth Bell image
* One Stitch at a Time - Anything Goes
* One Stop Craft Challenge - Anything Goes
* Secret Crafter Saturday Challenge - Anything Goes as long as it Sparkles
* Simon Says Stamp - Sparkle and Bling

Before I go, just a reminder to head on over to the Digi Bell's Blog on Friday 14th Oct for the  Blog Hop and the unveiling of Elisabeth Bell's newest digi dedicated to Janiel for her birthday!!
