Get Wordy at Southern Girls Challenge!

Wow, it seems like forever and a day since I posted here, Last week was spent preparing  for my 40th Party, so I barely made it on to the computer and this week I have just been busy with work with my two excited boys who can't wait to celebrate my actual birthday on Sunday!
Anyway, It is time for a new challenge at Southern Girls  Challenge and this week we want to see your projects with words on them - quotes, sayings etc. WE are sponsored by

I used Ruby Fabulous 40 from Bugaboo Stamps to make this card for one of  my oldest and dearest friends... I coloured in the image with tria markers and added crystal effects to the 40 so it was the stand out. I embossed the purple paper and added kindyglitz, then just added the buttons and the die cut sentiment.
I hope that you can join us this week at Southern Girls challenge this fortnight.

Always Anything Goes at Craft Your Passion!

Wow, it feels like forever since I posted a card for CYP but it is only a fortnight ago. I think it's because it's been school holidays here so I'm a bit out of routine.... But it was back to work and school today. I am busily preparing for my 40th Party this coming weekend so I am right on top of my crafting duties...
Anyway, it is time for a new challenge and this fortnight we are sponsored by
Kenny K Downloads

I used Retro Selfie. I coloured her in with tria markers and coloured her shoes in with red glitter pen so that they were sparkly! I decided to keep the card CAS and used my new alphabet dies (that I got from my most wonderful friend Sam as a belated Christmas present) to make the sentiment. I then just die cut the hearts and added crystal effects to them.
I hope that you can join us this fortnight at CYP

Little Miss Mouse.

I do apologise for the lack of posts lately. It has been school holidays here in Melbourne. I will probably be quiet over the next couple of weeks also as I am turning 40 in two weeks and having a party so busy preparing for that. However I will have a scheduled post or two.
So it is my turn to post over on The Digi Bell's blog and today I created a card using the sweet Little Miss Mouse which you can find in Elisabeth Bell's digi collection.
I coloured Little Miss Mouse in with tria markers and added some kindyglitz for some sparkle. I used some eyelets and threaded some ribbon through for something a little different, then die cut a heart. I embossed the pink card stock and added kindyglitz to that. To finish off I die cut some flowers and butterflies.
It is nearly time for another Blog Hop featuring Elisabeth Bell's latest digi but in the mean time be sure to stop by the Digi Bell's blog for some inspiration.

Li'l Lillian!

It is my turn to post on The Digi Bell's blog today and as I am down at my mum's celebrating Easter with my family, hopefully this has posted as scheduled. I have a card for you using an image I have not coloured up in a long time.. It's Li'l Lilian from Elisabeth Bell's digital collection.

I decided to use some bright colours to try and make me feel warmer. The weather sure is getting colder here in Melbourne. I coloured Li'l Lilian in with tria markers, cut her out and used some scrap pieces of papers to design my card. I then just added some buttons to finish it off.
Wishing all my followers a very Happy  Easter.
If you are travelling, stay safe!

Elisabeth Bell's Digital Release and Blog Hop...

OMG I almost forgot to post this.. Got back from seeing Walking with Dinosaurs with my boys and have been busy cleaning my house for a YIAH party tomorrow that I almost forgot...
Anyway, I haven't so let's get to it.... It is indeed time for a Blog Hop with The Digi Bell's to showcase a new digital image from Elisabeth Bell's digital collection. This little cutie has been around before  so you may recognise her.... Hopefully you have arrived here from Pauline's blog. If not, head on back to The Digi Bell's blog for the hop lineup.
Here is my card using the adorable

Easter Cuties

I coloured Easter Cuties in with tria markers. I went for the pastel colours cos they just remind me of Easter... As always when I finished this, as much as I love it, I think it needed a bit more or a patterned paper behind it....
I am the last stop on the hop, so I will send you back to The Digi Bell's blog so that you can leave a comment there as  you could win this adorable image from Elisabeth Bell's digital collection.
Have a great weekend.

Dies and Punches at Southern Girls Challenge!

It feels like forever since I posted a card for Southern Girls Challenge but here we are. A new challenge starts today and this fortnight we would like to see you use your dies and/or punches.
We have two fabulous sponsors this fortnight

I have used  an image from Oak Pond Creations

I coloured the image in with tria markers then inked around the edge. I found some music paper in my stash, then die cut out the music notes. Then just added a couple of buttons to finish it off! I hope that you can join us this fortnight at Southern Girls Challenge!
